Harold Weldon is the founding owner of Weldon Global (Beijing) Consulting, a Beijing based, specialist advisory service in Government, commerce and cultural relations . Weldon has been a China specialist for over 24 years currently dividing his time between Australia, Hong Kong and Beijing.

Weldon Global offers strategic advice and facilitation of trade and services to the China market and Chinese interests and investment into Global markets. Weldon’s experience covers sectors such as: Environmental Protection, Mining and Resource industry, Science and Technology, Telecommunications, Education, and Media.

In 2008 Weldon was awarded the honour of being named a Foreign Advisor to the International Cooperation Centre of the National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC). The NDRC is a macro-economic management agency under the auspices of top leadership entity- the Chinese State Council with broad administrative and planning control over the Chinese economy.
