Adriatic Metals

Managing Director, Paul Cronin Presenting

Adriatic Metals’ highly anticipated DFS for Vares Project

Sydney Mining Club is pleased to present a live presentation from Sarajevo by Paul Cronin MD of Adriatic Metals (ASX:ADT).

Headquartered in the UK, exploring and developing in Bosnia and Serbia, listed in Australia and presenting live from Sarajevo! Adriatic Metals is an outperforming $570m multi-commodity company on the brink of production.

Managing Director Paul Cronin will make Sydney Mining Club news by presenting live for our 1:00 pm Sydney time event. His company has defied the odds and made big strides in the former Yugoslavian states of Serbia and Bosnia into the age of modern mineral exploration and production.

Himself a former London commodity trader and resources banker, Cronin has relished his newfound role as a mining leader, a field operator, and even a community leader. His corporate architecture is of course informed by his rich experience in commodities and his company has been lifted by its fast development of the lesser-known brownfields mining field of Vares in the rolling hills of Bosnia just 50 mins drive from Sarajevo.

Adriatic’s website now offers the latest in 3D imaging of landscape, drilling, resources and much more – its really worth a look. To achieve the best cultural affinity between Adriatic and community, he hired a firm out of Perth.

‘The people are absolutely fantastic’ says Cronin who runs FIFO and a sort of reverse FIFO for his family in the Cotswolds, himself working right through two COVID infections, and a lockdown to eventually lock in a US$244.5m debt and equity financing for the Vares mine construction. And then there’s the also hot prospects at Raska in Serbia.

The project is a chain of sediment-hosted metal deposits that will produce tons of Ag-Au-Zn and Ag-Pb-Cu, destined for smelters in Europe and Asia seeking low Fe concentrates. Infrastructure is good, plant build is by Ausenco, and Sandfire has taken a very tidy profit selling out to a group of willing instos. It’s all on at Adriatic – the power of enterprise. Not to be missed!
