Frazer is a geologist with over 35-years international experience in mineral exploration, with a focus on porphyry copper, orogenic gold, and energy minerals. After graduating with an Honours degree in Mining Geology and a subsequent Ph.D from the Royal School of Mines, he joined WMC Resources and over a 16-year period led exploration teams in Australia, Africa, the Philippines, and Mongolia. In 2005 he joined the Mitchell River Group of companies and has led several ASX-listed companies through discovery and project evaluation/development.
